Florida Students Invited to Participate in 2026 Native American Heritage Month Contests
The Florida Department of Education and Volunteer Florida announced student art (grades K-3) and essay (grades 4-12) contests with the theme “Celebrating Florida’s Native American Heritage.” All Florida students — including public, charter, private, home, or virtual students — are invited to participate. Entries must be submitted online or received by mail by 5:00 PM Eastern Time on Friday, November 13, 2026.
